In the past two years, NFL owners have allowed three relocations - St. Louis to Los Angeles, San Diego to Los Angeles, and most recently, Oakland to Las Vegas. That’s as many relocations as there were in the previous 25 years combined. From these moves, NFL owners have pocketed more than $50 million each. The trend in team relocations is concerning: teams demand that taxpayers fund new state-of-the-art stadiums. If demands are not met, teams move to another city willing to ante up.
